GOOD JOB, WELL DONE SAITORIANS!

Our Kampus Saito is now looking more colourful with a dash of green everywhere, thanks to 106 students from FLAME who took part in a three-day gotong-royong at our campus on 27, 29 and 30th July, 2023.

The boys and girls worked hard throughout the three days to give the campus we call home a fresh look and the result was astounding, much to the delight of the kids and their lecturers seeing the result of their labour of love.

Their lecturer, Aini Ab Rahman thought of the idea and shared it with her students who replied enthusiastically.

“They were happy with the idea and we soon decided on a “Saito Landscaping Day”. After getting all the approval and equipment, they worked in between classes and the surroundings were indeed more cheerful than it was before.

The students were divided into two teams with one of them focusing on gardening, planting, repotting and arranging plants and landscapes while the other team did the repainting and cleaning before and after.

Team one was led by Mr. Ravichandran a/l M. Ganesunn (BLEI A29) and Bavani a/p Govindasamy (BLEI A29) based on the theme Saito Green and Clean while Team two was led by Vijay a/l Ponnusamy (BLEI B25C) and Devendan a/l Saravana Selvam (BLEI B25).

Soon, together with their lecturers, the teams quickly got on the ground and get their hands dirty.

“It was a good feeling working with these young and enthusiastic students. They really work hard and you could see the sparks in their eyes as they work,” said Aini.

It was the perfect combination of students from BLEI, BHRM, BBM, BGD, BBLME that brought out excellent results, she added.

“I would like to personally thank each and every student who took part. They are a great bunch of people, saying yes without hesitation. This is the quality of students that we have here and they will be an asset to whenever they are attached after graduation,” said Aini.
