It was amazing! Said Ong Tsu Ze, one of the students who took part in the Fast Track Programme organised by Saito Business and Design Schools recently.
Nineteen-year old Ong who just completed his SPM examination last month said he enjoyed the two-week lessons immensely as they were exposed to the correct ways to conduct online business.
Ong and his newly acquired friends had set up a Shopee account to sell masks online and business was brisk.
“We had a fun time running the business,” said the former student of Chung Hwa Independent in Jalan Ipoh.
A great designer in the making Sim Ying Rou said he was happy to pick up tips from the lecturers, especially on graphic and multimedia designs that encompass Illustration and Videography.
Sim who is from Sungai Pelek Selangor said it was a very fruitful two-week programme.
The free programme was organised by Saito Business and Design Schools to expose SPM students on class experience. They underwent a course in digital marketing and digital content creation using user generated contents such as Youtube, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
As for the Design School participants, they had fun producing their first animation, learning the hands-on skills with our experienced lecturers.
The programme was held from 14th March till 25th March 2022 and every participant was given a certificate.
The certificates were given by the Dean of Saito Business School Dr Jenny Wong in a ceremony held on 25th March, 2022.
