FIGHTING CORRUPTION ON TIKTO

Intan Nur Najwa who is pursuing her Diploma in Law Enforcement Administration at Saito University College demonstrated her prowess as content creator, clinching top spot in the Tiktok Challenge held in conjunction with the International Anti-Corruption Day 2023 on Dec 9, 2023.

Intan who aspires to become a Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission officer put up a creative anti-corruption video that attracted the attention of judges. She is also in the committee of Angkatan Mahasiswa Anti Rasuah (AMAR).

The gutsy lass thanked Mr. Muhammad Nur Almuta’ali Mohamad and AMAR advisor Mr. Mohd Ridhwanuddin Kamarullah for their guide and support.

Intan was among 138 Saito students who took part in the celebration, organised by MACC and the Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU), the biggest number of participants from institutes of higher learning.

Mr Muhammad Nur Almuta’ali said the celebration was to instil awareness on effects of corruption in the minds of young university students.

“It was an insightful event where the students get to interact with MACC on corruption issues,” he said, adding that the programme was also attended by MACC Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.

On Intan’s success, Mr Muhammad said her passion for content creation blossomed during her studies at Saito UC. FLAME Media at Saito UC played a pivotal role in honing her skills, he said.

Faculty of Law Enforcement and Public Sector Management (FLAME) Operations Director Ts Dr Zahar Ali said the university focuses  on holistic student development through various clubs and associations.

“Our effort is constantly highlighted with our students’ commitment and success in various activities,” he said.
