The design evolution in K2 School of Business and Design was evident as 15 students showcased their work from Year 1 to Year 3 at the D3 Dotted Dimension Degree Exhibition which was held in GMBB, Bukit Bintang from 2 – 3 Sept 2023.
Seven students from Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design)(Hons) and eight from the Bachelor of Design (Digital Media)(Hons) proudly exhibited their work, proving their journey from newbies to now aspiring designers.
President of the exhibition Committee, Noah Chong said he was very satisfied with the end result after 14 weeks of hard work.
“We worked hard for this and were very proud to welcome more than 300 visitors to the exhibition, including talent scouts,” he said.
The committee managed to get sponsorship in cash and kind from sponsors like KTFC, Meng Enterprise and Saito UC as this was the biggest public exhibition organised by Saito UC after a series of Covid-19 lockdowns prior to this.
Ts. Syed Fahmi Syed Abdul Rahman who is the adviser for this exhibition said the presence of 20 designers who came to scout for future employees is a testimony of K2’s success.
He explained the meaning behind the unique Dotted Dimension Degree title saying, “with a simple dot as the starting point, our logo weaves together a myriad of colours, symbolising unity among students from diverse classes. Like dots forming a complete picture, we embark on a collective journey, guided by creativity and inspiration.”
The exhibition was officiated by renowned creative director Jovi Chong who is the first batch alumni of Saito UC.
