It’s back in campus but no one was complaining. In fact, everyone was excited when a group of Saito Business School and The Prime School of Logistics students were ushered into the spanking new lecture halls in Kampus Saito, Cheras on Monday, May 30, 2022.

For some, it was their first experience in a lecture hall as they met their friends and lecturers whom they have only encountered online prior to this.

After a two-year hiatus, the students finally strode in to the new Kampus Saito and met their beloved lecturers Sathish Sarma and Rajamohan Rajagopal.

Dean of both schools, Dr Jenny Wong shared their happiness, saying it was refreshing to have the students back at campus. “It was a quiet two years as we battled Covid-19 which arrived at our shores in 2020.”

Now that everyone is vaccinated and as Malaysia enters the endemic phase, we welcome students with open arms.

Dr Jenny however applauded the students for their attendance online, adding that we have adapted to the new normal quite well, although they had struggled in the earlier phase.

“As uncertainties ruled the day, lecturers and students found new ways to continue lessons unhindered but it is now time to return to campus although we are still in hybrid mode,” she said.

The six-storey Kampus Saito will house students of Saito Security Academy, Early Childhood Education, The Prime School of Logistics, Saito Business School and Lé Masters while Saito Design School students will be stationed at its campus in Petaling Jaya.
