The logistics sector is an exciting space in today’s borderless world, and at Saito University College, we make sure our students are ready to take on the world. As part of our commitment to global exposure, 10 students from the Prime School of Integrated Logistics recently participated in our Global Immersion Programme with an insightful visit to Shinawatra University in Bangkok.
Accompanied by four lecturers, including trip coordinator Mr. Abdul Haqim Abd Ghafar, the students gained valuable perspectives on logistics and supply chain management. “It was a tremendous learning opportunity,” said Abdul Haqim. “The students showcased their leadership skills and impressed Shinawatra’s management during the discussions.”
Encouraged by Saito UC’s achievements, Shinawatra University expressed interest in future collaborations, including potential twinning and exchange programmes. An intent to sign a Memorandum of Understanding is in place, with further discussions on the horizon.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Shinawatra University, especially Dr. Wei Sanji and Mr. Peilin Hu, for their hospitality, and to Dr. Prattana Srisuk of TGBC for the exceptional arrangements that made the trip a success.
The visit also included exploring Thailand’s Economic Corridor and a lively cultural exchange. Our students took the stage with their performances, while their Thai counterparts shared traditional music and dance, creating lasting connections.
“We look forward to organising more of these impactful experiences,” added Abdul Haqim. “Our goal is to prepare students for the world stage and help them excel globally.”
