Taking part in the Merdeka Suka Cipta drawing competition organised by National Art Gallery was a way of getting the experience for Chong Xue Xuan.
But little did he expect to win a prize in the competition, organised in conjunction with Merdeka celebration.
The Diploma in Graphic Design student at K2 School of Business and Design walked away with RM300 and a hamper in consolation prize.
“It was not expected, I was ready to collect aura points from this participation, but I won something,” said Chong who loved taking part in contests that cross his dreamy bull path.
Since he is entering his sixth semester, Chong thought it would be nice to get some invaluable experience and said there was nothing to lose and everything to gain.
