Want to energise your career? Need a jump start to ignite the possibility of a promotion? Here’s a place where you can begin to accelerate your career journey – Saito University College.
More than 60 participants — mainly government officers from around Putrajaya, along with members of the Youth Parliament — spent a memorable afternoon with us on September 4, 2025.
The 3-hour session was filled with insightful sharing, meaningful conversations, and a glimpse into the dynamic opportunities Saito UC offers.
The programme opened with a warm welcome by Miss Rosliza Abdul Wahab, Assistant Dean of the K2 School of Business and Design. She captivated the audience with the inspiring story of Saito UC, which began in 1988 through the vision of Japanese entrepreneur Tetsuo Saito, before its acquisition by Safeguards Corporation.
The event then moved into engaging sessions led by distinguished speakers. Datuk Kamaruddin Ismail, former Johor Chief Police Officer, shared valuable insights into the challenges faced by the police force today.
His talk sparked lively discussions, especially on Saito UC’s pioneering Law Enforcement Academy, the first of its kind among private institutions of higher learning.
The audience was also inspired by Ts. Dr. Zawiah Abdul Majid, newly appointed Dean of The Prime School of Integrated Logistics and Deputy President of CILT Malaysia. She highlighted the vast opportunities within the logistics and halal industries — sectors that continue to gain strong global momentum.
Dr. Jeya Mhiruna, Assistant Dean of the Law Enforcement Academy, explained how Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) has opened career pathways for working professionals.
Later, Zech David of Chamrun Digital energised the crowd with an interactive mini-workshop on AI tools that can transform office productivity.
The afternoon included a hi-tea reception, giving guests the chance to network closely with Saito UC staff.
