A team of students from the Prime School of Integrated Logistics, led by Mr. Abdul Haqim, made a remarkable impression at LIMA’25 in Langkawi with their innovative rocket model named RISE.
RISE—an acronym for Reusable, Innovative, Sustainable, and Eco-friendly—was successfully tested using the OpenRocket flight simulator, showcasing its strong potential for future aerospace applications.
The competition was officially launched by YB Hannah Yeoh, Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, adding excitement and national recognition to the event.
Accompanied by their Assistant Dean, Miss Noor Fathiah Othman, and their dedicated supporter Mr. Hafiz, the team presented their project to a panel of judges and proudly secured 6th place in the Pioneer Aerospace Talent Challenge.
Miss Fathiah expressed her pride in the students’ achievement, stating:
“We hope this invaluable experience will motivate them to reach even greater heights in life.”
